ULTRAVAC™ - Controls for Modulating CORAYVAC® Infrared Heating System
The ULTRAVAC™controls system is an optional controls package that allows input modulation of CORAYVAC® systems, providing additional fuel and electrical efficiency. The input of the CORAYVAC® system is modulated based on sensor inputs from temperature sensors outdoors and in the heated space. Both fuel and combustion air to the CORAYVAC® burners are adjusted continuously throughout the entire range of modulation to ensure combustion efficiency. With modulation, the heat input of the system matches the heat loss of the space, saving fuel and increasing occupant comfort.
All interface with the heating system settings are PC computer based allowing centralized control of multiple systems from one location. From a computer, the user can monitor and alter all setpoints, zone temperatures, system operation status, schedules, historical data and more. Status screens can be customized with CAD drawings of the building for quick and easy monitoring. Computer interface can be onsite or remotely accessed with the standard on-board modem or optional LAN interface module. Local control within the heated space is provided by user customized multi-function zone temperature sensors. Zone sensors are customized at the PC to allow for any level of occupant control over the space temperature or can be programmed to prevent occupant temperature tampering.
For many small building owners as well as large multi-facility owners, the control, customization and convenience provided by the UltraVac™ controls system is enough of a benefit for the investment.
